My Works

NAWAYA

Nawa means rope. In Japan it is used at shrines as a symbol of shinoto (Nature Worship). Nawa represents Ying & Yang, Heaven & Earth.Nawa is used to divide the sacred & the mundane. My goal is to combine traditional craft & modern scene’s to create a New Batik world.
